Le 23 février 2002, Clara Rojas a été enlevée par les FARCS.
Après avoir vécu l’enfer dans la jungle colombienne pendant six ans, Clara Rojas, l’ex directrice de campagne d’Ingrid Betancourt, se livre dans une autobiographie au titre très révélateur « Captive ». Un livre bouleversant où elle évoque avec pudeur et sincérité son calvaire, sa tentative d’évasion, sa dispute avec sa meilleure amie Ingrid Betancourt, son instinct de survie phénoménal, son accouchement douloureux mais aussi le miracle de la naissance de son fils Emmanuel. Un récit qui ne laissera personne dans l’indifférence.
