Dharma Punks
They are young, tattooed, with piercings and shaved heads. These are punks who are tired of the consumerist trends of thinking and despise the examples their past cultural movement idols portray. In eastern spirituality and wisdom, whether Buddhism or Hinduism, these punks find the inspiration to change the world by beginning with a revolution within themselves.

The Pastoral odyssey…
» In an autobiographical and reflexive quest, I was moved to explore a task that was the once my father’s and my grandfather’s, but will never be mine. It is not a simple quest for roots but a semi-ethnographic exploration of the mentioned event vanishing little by little: the shepherd’s world. »

The International Butler Academy.
What is BUTLER Service? « SIR, Butler service is technical skills plus energy, passion, commitment, SIR! »
No, this is not the yelling ofshaved-head Marines but the rallying cry of the International Butler Academy summer class, located at the Castle of Zeist, seven miles east of Utrecht (Netherlands). 9 am: ten students of various nationalities (English, American,French Dutch, German, Italian) line up for the first morning review and clear their throat yelling the Butler’s motto. The troup will have to show impeccably dressed (each trainee has to wear a made to measure hand-made suit with frock coat) for the inspection during which the head-butler will even check the cleanliness of their hands. But that is only the start of a long and demanding day of learning.

Bilbao. A regeneration story.
Ten years ago, a bizarre « it », a building between a ship and a gigantic fish, was anchored on the banks of the river Nervión, in the ex-industrial area of Bilbao. Its back was clad in titanium panels and its stomach was filled up with masterpieces of art. The Bilbaínos went down to see. They were dazzled by the sudden glare that flooded their grey city; shocked by the amount of money spent for this project, totally funded by the Basque authorities, they were incredulous of the future. Ten years later, this « it », the Guggenheim Museum, changed the city’s image. Bilbao, the former coal-mining city has become like the Mecca of modern architecture and avant guard design, and consequently a boosting tourist destination.

The last gondola craftsmen.
english:
For as long as we can remember, boats have always been an indivisible part of life in the city of Venice. « Barca xe casa »: a boat for the house. This old Venetian proverb is the extension of a more down-to-earth image: that of horses being attached to the walls of houses. This floating coach has since the foundation of Venice been an essential tool for survival, transportation, trade, communications and consequently the well-being of the city. The layout of the lagoon, which is truly a maze with its narrow canals (177 canals), small islands and long strips of sand, requires very special boats, with a flat bottom making it possible to avoid all obstacles. In Venice, there is a wide variety of boats of different sizes, each offering characteristics appropriate to the use for which it is intended: the sampierota, the bragozzo, the topa, the bragagna and the vipèra. Nevertheless, a fascinating boat clearly stands out from this family portrait: the Gondola has won over the hearts of millions and conquered time with its truly specific grace.
