Après le retrait de Mogadiscio, des rebelles Al Shabab, affiliés au réseau Al-Qaida, c’est désormais une crise alimentaire qui frappe le pays. Sécheresse, Famine, 12,4 millions de personnes sont touchés dans la Corne de l’Afrique. L’ONU a décrété l’Etat de famine dans toute la Somalie ainsi que dans la capitale. A l’hôpital Banadir de Mogadishu, 7 enfants meurent chaque jours de malnutrition, de Choléra, Malaria. Sur 4 millions de Somaliens en situation de détresse, 750000 risquent de mourir dans les quatre prochains mois.
