The Happy Magic Water Cube
One of the world’s most incredible water park in the heart of Beijing
The « Water Cube » – Beijing olympic swimming pool – was specially created for Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Its blue plastic bubble-like outside look is now emblematic in the whole country and for every Chinese just like other very symbolic monuments. But since the end of the chinese Olympics, the Beijing municipal government has tried its best to find a way and make this complex commercially viable and recently placed their hope in a rather astonishing water park. The « Happy Magic Water Cube » or « Beijing Magic Water Park » is now set up in the southern part of the Cube and is welcoming an emerging urban elite which can afford around 18 Euros (150 RMB) to get in, which remains for most chinese a lot of money.
