Arlington West Memorial

Arlington West Memorial is a project of Veterans For Peace (VFP) to present the human cost of the America’s endeavors in Iraq and Afghanistan in respond of the Dover Ban. Started in the city of Santa Barbara, California, in November 2003, it had been on display every Sunday on the beach of the city of Santa Monica, California since February 2004. It is a site where people can think about the war and its consequences on the American society.

Come this summer, visitors to Rome will be able to see parts of the Roman Colosseum never before open to the public. For the first time tourists will soon be able to visit the underground of the Colosseum, where gladiators once prepared for fights and lions and tigers were caged before entertaining a blood thirsty public.
